DIY Pillow Spray

If you are living anywhere in eastern /central Canada you know this "Spring" so far has been a nightmare and with all this horrible weather we have been having lately we could all use some help sleeping. Here is a recipe that is perfect for relaxation and an excellent night's sleep ---free from thoughts of snow and ice!

What you will need:

6-10 drops of lavender essential Oil
Distilled Water
1/4 tsp Epsom Salts
4 oz spray bottle

Directions

1. Add the salts to your bottle if you are using them. (For this project I am reusing a cute frosted spray bottle I received in my Seasons Box). Epsom salts help to mix the oil with the water. You may wish to add witchhazel in place of the Epsom salts! My favourite Witch Hazel is by Thayers. It is available on Well.ca, Iherb etc
2. Fill the bottle almost to the top with water
3. Add your essential oil. You may also wish to combine lavender with another essential oil. I am using Lavender for it's calming and antibacterial properties. If you are combining oils be sure not to exceed 10 drops!
4. Shake
5. Spray 1-2 times on you pillow before bed.

And there you have it a simple recipe for a calming , relaxing pillow spray!
